Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G  Power and Limitations

The AMD Processor Ryzen 5 4650G has a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 65 W, which is the typical power consumption level for a modern PC. It is important to note that the Maximum Operating Temperature of the processor is 95 degrees Celsius. As such, it is recommended to build a system with a robust cooling system to minimize the wear and tear on other computer components.

When a processor operates at high temperatures, it can cause damage to other components, such as the motherboard or RAM. This can lead to system instability, crashes, and potentially irreversible damage to the system.

To ensure the longevity and stability of your system, it is recommended to invest in a quality cooling system that is designed to handle the high operating temperatures of the Ryzen 5 4650G. This can include a combination of fans, heatsinks, and liquid cooling systems, depending on your specific needs and budget.

By building a system with a strong cooling system, you can minimize the risk of damage to your computer components and ensure that your system runs smoothly and reliably for years to come.

Features of AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G

The Ryzen 5 4650G processor from AMD comes with several features that enhance its performance capabilities. One such feature is hardware virtualization, which significantly improves virtual machine performance. This means that running virtual machines on the Ryzen 5 4650G is a smooth and efficient experience.

In addition to hardware virtualization, the Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G is also equipped with Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX), which are designed to improve performance for calculation-heavy applications. This feature allows programs that use AVX to run on the processor, providing a significant boost in performance.

Furthermore, the Ryzen 5 4650G also supports the newer AVX2 standard, which is an advanced version of AVX. AVX2 features enhanced performance and improved functionality compared to its predecessor. However, it is important to note that the Ryzen 5 4650G does not support the AVX-512 standard, which is the latest and most advanced version of AVX.

Connecting Two Computer in the Network and Play Games

LAn configuration

To connect two computer and able to play games and transfer files, you will be needed additional devices such as router or switches. But if you don’t want to buy additional such devices and all you need just two connect the two computer. All you need to do is check both computer if it has onboard LAN Ports or Network Interface Card (LAN Card) .

If available, you can now create a crossover cable with a following tools.

  • Either Cat5, Cat5e or Cat6 UTP Cable
  • RJ45
  • Crimping Tools

If you’re having trouble creating this kind of cable you can go to your local electronics store. I’m sure they  this kind of wire is available.

After creating the x-over cable, connect each end to tthe LAN ports of each computer and proceed to the configuration of I.P address.

The Files

Once the proper configuration of local IP address is setup, you must manually provide a sharing properties of what kind of security of folder you want to but not necessarily because it’s just two computer.

The Games

For those who want to play network game, just look-up the game menu  network settings and provide proper information. If a firewall pops up , and ask you to block or allow access, just select allow access to network. You can also turn off the firewall in Windows Control Panel.
